Bitcoin’s value has soared by a robust 10% since BlackRock threw down the gauntlet with their spot ETF filing in June. The response? A veritable stampede of mammoth investment players – Fidelity, Invesco, Wisdom Tree, Ark Invest, and now, Valkyrie – jostling elbow-to-elbow in this high-stakes race.
The SEC has already turned down about 30 Bitcoin ETF applications, and JP Morgan cautions against getting too swept away in the excitement. They argue that while a spot ETF is creating ripples, it will likely not result in a tidal wave of institutional investments.
