Is Dogecoin the official cryptocurrency of Twitter? On Monday, Elon Musk changed the blue bird Twitter logo to a badly-cut-out image of a shiba inu dog. No explanation was offered for the change. Is this a permanent change? Musk finally tweeted that this change was in celebration of a Tweet 1 year ago suggesting that he buy Twitter and replace the Twitter logo with a Dogecoin logo.
Elon Musk is currently being sued for $258b by Dogecoin investors. The complaint says that in 2019 Musk knew that Dogecoin had no value, but promoted it anyway. Then, Musk appeared on Saturday Night Live and referred to Dogecoin as a hustle.
Since Monday, Doge has risen 23% or 18 cents.
