If I could only purchase one coin, which one would I choose?
Well, since Bitcoin and Ethereum are 60% of the crypto market cap, it would make sense to choose either Bitcoin or Ethereum. But which is better as an investment?
Bitcoin has the advantage of being the first public blockchain. And with the lightning network, I can use Bitcoin for micro payments.
Ethereum has the advantage of being the first smart-contract blockchain. And it’s also proof of stake, meaning that I can earn 5% staking rewards with little to no risk. Albert Einstein once said that compound interest is a miracle. So I have to go with ethereum for two reasons. First, the ability to earn compound interest. Second, the explosion of use cases in the coming months from DeFi to NFTs.
So if I could only buy one coin, it would be ethereum.
