The SEC has been wielding a terrifying sword, and now Etoro is paying the price. Customers residing in the US will be unable to purchase ALGO, MANA, MATIC and DASH on etoro. A devastating blow for these coins as the losses have already been staggering – DASH plunging 30%, Algorand down 24%, MANA and MATIC deflated by 29%. On July 12th, the purchase of these coins will be removed from etoro for US customers.
With the SEC’s relentless pursuit, other platforms like Gemini, Crypt.com, and Uphold could soon face a similar fate. It’s a challenging time to be invested in these coins, and this is a reminder to all investors of the realities of the SEC’s war on crypto.
