Ledger Recover is the talk of the town!
All serious crypto investors need to secure their assets with a hardware wallet. I’m a big fan of Ledger Nano S Plus and Nano X, and I still recommend them, despite the new Ledger Recover feature. While I recommend Ledger hardware wallets, I do not recommend backing up your private keys in the cloud.
It’s imperative to stay on the safe side, and I do not share my private keys with anyone, including Ledger. So, I am not using the Ledger Recover feature.
My solution? Brass plates. I engrave all my seed phrases on brass plates and put them away in a safe. Nothing and no one will ever get my private key unless I let them, and that’s how you should be too. Use hardware wallets, but never share your private key with anyone, not even with Ledger!
